Prayers to Honour Our Blessed Mother Mary

Holy Mary, Mother of God,
we come to you with hearts full of love and trust
You who are full of grace,  bore the Saviour of the world,
teach us to say ‘yes’ to God with courage and joy, just as you did at the Annunciation.
 Immaculate Heart of Mary,
open our hearts to your gentle love and maternal care.
Guide us in our struggles, comfort us in our sorrows, and protect us from all evil and temptation.
Cover us with your heavenly mantle,
and lead us safely to the embrace of your Son, Jesus.
Holy Mother, Star of the Sea,
light our way when darkness surrounds us,
and show us the path of humility, patience, and mercy.
May we honour you not with worship, but with love,
and may every prayer, every thought, and every action
bring us closer to your Son.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

"To Jesus, through Mary."

Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us!

Thank you, listeners. God bless! 😇🙏❤

Hello listeners and welcome to Jesus You TakeOver. Today will be a special episode in the month of May. In the Catholic Church, the month of May is especially devoted to honoring the Blessed Virgin Mary. Have you ever just wondered why Mary? This humble young woman from Nazareth continues to inspire billions of people around the world. Why did her simple yes change the course of history? And how can that same faith transform our lives today? Today we will journey through scripture, the teachings of the church and the wisdom of the saints, to deepen our love and understanding of Mary, the mother of God, and our spiritual mother. May this episode be a source of peace, inspiration, and guidance as we grow closer to her Son, Jesus. Through her tender intercession, let us begin this time of reflection by opening our hearts to the Blessed Virgin Mary as she guides us to her Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. Let us pray together in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Holy Mary, Mother of God, we come to you with hearts full of love and trust. You who are full of grace bore the Savior of the world. Teach us to say yes to God with courage and joy, just as you did at the Annunciation. Immaculate Heart of Mary, open our hearts to your gentle love and maternal care. Guide us in our struggles, comfort us in our sorrows, and protect us from all evil and temptation. Cover us with your heavenly mantle and lead us safely to the embrace of your Son Jesus. Holy Mother, Star of the Sea, light our way when darkness surrounds us, and show us the path of humility, patience, and mercy. May we honor you not with worship but with love, and may every prayer, every thought and every action bring us closer to your Son. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. The Blessed Virgin Mary is first and foremost the mother of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. In Luke chapter one verse twenty eight, the angel Gabriel greets her with these beautiful words Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with you. Imagine that moment, Mary, a young woman from Nazareth, suddenly entrusted with God's plan to save the world. Now can you just picture her heart racing, her mind searching for understanding? And yet with courage and faith she says, Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. Let it be done to me according to your word. In Luke chapter one, verse forty two, her cousin Elizabeth, filled with the Holy Spirit, calls Mary blessed among women, recognizing her special role in God's plan to save humanity. There are many Catholics around the world that honor Mary as the greatest woman who ever lived, not because she is divine, but because of her perfect obedience, her humility and her love for God. Her life shows us the power of saying yes to God, even when the path is uncertain. In Mary we see a model of holiness, courage and faith that inspires countless people across generations. Mary's yes fulfills the promise God made to humanity after the fall of Adam and Eve. In Genesis chapter three, verse fifteen, God speaks of the woman whose offspring will crush the serpent's head. Mary is that woman, the new Eve, whose obedience begins the restoration of what we lost. Early church fathers like Saint Orenaus often highlight this connection, showing that from the very first chapters of Scripture God was preparing humanity for Mary's role. Mary shows us that holiness is not about being perfect by our own strength. It's about trusting God completely. Her yes brought the Savior into the world. So every time we face challenges or uncertainties in life, we can ask ourselves Am I truly saying yes to God even when I don't fully understand His plan? Catholic devotion often focuses on the Immaculate Heart of Mary. This heart is pure and sinless and full of love for God and all of humanity, reflects her intimate union with Jesus. The Church teaches that Mary's heart was pierced with sorrow, especially at the foot of the cross, where she shared in the sufferings of her son. Saint John Paul II wrote, The Immaculate Heart of Mary is a heart of love, a heart that beats in union with God's plan for salvation. By meditating on her immaculate heart, we can grow in love and be filled with compassion and courage. The Immaculate Heart of Mary is intimately connected to the sacred heart of Jesus. When we contemplate Mary's heart, we are drawn into the mystery of Christ's love and mercy. Popes, saints, and mystics have shown that Mary's heart is a channel through which graces flow abundantly to those who seek her intercession. This is why consecration to her immaculate heart is encouraged to grow spiritually and to be protected from spiritual harm. Think of Mary's heart as a mirror of God's mercy and love. When you pray to her, you are open in your own heart to Christ. Mary shows us how to embrace suffering with hope, to live with patience and trust in God, allowing our trials to become paths of grace. Mary's life was not without pain. The church honors her through the seven sorrows, inviting us to reflect on her deep faith and love. These sorrows include Simon's prophecy at Jesus' presentation in the temple, the flight into Egypt to protect the holy family, the loss of the young Jesus in the temple, Mary meeting him on the way to Calvary, standing at the foot of the cross, receiving his lifeless body and witnessing his burial. Each sorrow reminds us that love often involves sacrifice. Mary's example shows us how to remain faithful and trusting in God even in the midst of suffering. Saint Alphonsus Ligory encourages us to meditate on these sorrows. He says in all the sorrows of Mary we see the tender love of a mother for her children. Praying the Seven Sorrows Rosary allows us to unite our suffering with hers, offering it to God as a prayer for the world. Mary united her suffering with Jesus in a profound way. Each piercing of her heart points to her unique participation in God's plan of salvation. Mary teaches us that sorrow is never meaningless when it's united with Jesus. So every trial, every tear can be offered to God and be transformed into mercy and grace. Whenever you feel heavy hearted, remember, Mother Mary understands and intercedes for you with tender love. Mary always points us to her son Jesus. She never draws attention to herself, but always directs all hearts to him. Whenever someone says Mary, she says Jesus. At the wedding of Cana, she tells the servants do whatever he tells you. True devotion to Mary always leads us closer to Christ. Saint Louis de Montfort once wrote To Jesus through Mary is the surest, easiest, shortest, and most perfect way. By trusting her guidance, we find a safe path that leads directly to her Son, who then takes us to the Father. Her intercession is also a lesson in humility. She never replaces Jesus, but she shows us how to participate in his mission. Saint Bernard of Clairvo described her as the star of the sea, guiding sailors safely to harbour. Spiritually, we are all sailors on the sea of life. When we are lost, Mary points us to Christ, ensuring that we navigate with love and faith, avoiding the storms of sin and despair. If we ever feel lost spiritually, we can rely on Mary to lead us to Jesus. She knows our struggles, our weaknesses, and gently encourages us to follow him, reminding us that salvation is not a solo journey, but a journey of grace. Now the rosary is one of the most powerful devotions in the Catholic faith. Through prayerful meditation on the mysteries, we unite our hearts with Mary, and through her with Jesus. Pope John Paul II called the Rosary a school of Christ, teaching us to live the gospel in daily life. Saint Louis de Montfort again reminds us the rosary is the most beautiful weapon to touch the heart of Jesus, our Redeemer. The rosary is also a spiritual armor against temptation and the devil. Saint Padre Pio often stressed that devoutly praying the rosary protects families, communities, and nations. Each bead is a prayer, a meditation, and an act of love. The mysteries joyful, sorrowful, glorious and luminous allow us to walk with Mary in every stage of Jesus' life, from incarnation to resurrection, deepening our understanding of salvation. Praying the Rosary is like holding Mother Mary's hand while walking with her son Jesus. Each decade opens our hearts to God's grace. It strengthens us against temptation and it invites peace into our lives. So if you haven't embraced this devotion yet, I highly recommend it. You can just start small, even a single decade that's prayed daily can transform your spiritual life, but it has to be done with true devotion. The devil fears Mary because of her sinless heart and her closeness to God. Throughout history, Mary has appeared as a protector of the faithful. Think of Lords, Fatima, and countless personal stories. Revelation chapter twelve verse one portrays her as a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and a crown of twelve stars on her head, symbolizing her heavenly power and mantle of protection. Mary's protective mantle is more than symbolism. It represents her care as our spiritual mother, offering shelter to souls that are in danger of sin, temptation, and despair. Saints, mystics, and popes have testified that Mary actively intervenes when the faithful call upon her. Saint Louis de Montfort assures us that she is the safest guide through the trials of life and a protector against the snares of the enemy. When darkness surrounds us, whether it's fear, temptation or despair, Mary wraps us in her mantle, shielding us and guiding us to Christ. She is the mother who runs to defend her children, not with might, but with prayer, love, and unwavering faith. Now it's very important to remember that Catholics do not worship Mary. Worship is for God alone. We honor, love, and venerate Mary as the mother of God. She is our spiritual mother and our intercessor. When we pray hail Mary's or when we light candles in her honour, we are seeking her guidance and prayers. We are not replacing Jesus. Saint Bernard of Clairvaux said we honor Mary to glorify God, because through her God gave us his greatest gift, Jesus. Honoring Mary also strengthens our understanding of the communion of saints. She intercedes for us in heaven, presenting our prayers to God. Devotion to Mary teaches humility, love, and the power of intercessory prayer. It is a recognition of the family we have in Christ, where the saints and Mary themselves care for us as we journey toward eternal life. Mary's role is a mirror of humility and service. She does not take glory for herself, but points us to her son. Our devotion to her is a devotion to God, enriched by the love of a mother who intercedes for every heart. So as we honor Mary this May, let us embrace her teachings, her immaculate heart, and her guidance. Let us pray the rosary, contemplate her sorrows, and follow her path to Jesus. She stands as a symbol of hope, courage, and maternal love. May we open our hearts to her intercession and allow her to lead us to her Son. Now let us pray free hail Marys together to honor our blessed Mother. In the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen. Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen. Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen. In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Let us also remember that Mary's heavenly mantle is an invitation to live in virtue and grace. Just by looking to her life we learn courage, patience, purity, and most importantly, we learn love. Each devotion, each prayer, each moment of reflection is an opportunity to grow closer to Jesus through Mary. Remember she is not far from us. She walks beside us, guiding us home. To Jesus through Mary. To Jesus through Mary. To Jesus through Mary. Thank you, listeners, I hope you have enjoyed today's episode honoring Mary, our blessed mother. May her immaculate heart inspire you to love more deeply, forgive more freely, and trust in God more completely. Let her heavenly mantle cover you and your family today and always, guiding you safely to her Son, our Lord and God. Jesus Christ. And may God bless you all. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
